Cricket - The Movie.

It's done nowt but rain here for the last couple of days, so after several cancelled matches, the 10 year old hoyed his cricket bag in the cupboard under the stairs and decided to try and make a short cricket movie instead.

A couple of days ago (when the sun was shining)  he went to our local cricket pitch with his dad and his pal for some batting practice. They decided to film their session for a bit of 'analysis' afterwards, so he's used the footage from that, added a bit of Paulo Nutini, and with a tiny bit of mums help, here it is...

  2. Thanks Carole! :-))) (Proud mum smiling)

I just wish he could put all this practice into action in a game! His poor dad has had to turn into a bowling machine over the summer as Tom just wants to be practicing all day every day.

In the last 2 'crucial' games, he was out for a duck in both - the bowling machine had his head in his hands as he watched his little lad trudge off, disappointed and dejected. One day!...

PS Talking of lovely, gorgeous sons, how are DJ's plans coming along for the sponsored walk?

  3. Hello!

I am a student at the University of St Andrews, Scotland and I am currently doing a research project on the role of online blogs for individuals impacted by cancer. I was wondering whether I could talk to you about your opinions, I am especially interested in how bloggers can creatively express themselves(symbolically) in virtual environments and how important the blog design is in this process (layout, colour, language, photos etc).
I hope that my research will promote online blogging as a critical resource and increase its awareness.

Please email me back if you would like to.
    Thanks in advance :)
